Hydra facial: much hyped facial by social media:This facial is done with a special machine in which we have three solutions hitting our ace one after the other. These solutions are nothing but skin acids and vitamins.

a) First solution: AHA peel ie kind of glycolic acid peel . It gently exfoliates the skin’s dead layer and renew it.

b) Second solution : BHA ie salicylic acid. It exfoliates and cleanses the skin pores to reduce the occurrence of black heads.

c) Third solution: Vitamin C rich solution. Nourishes and hydrates the skin to give that glossy look.

Advantages: Hydrafacials are quick fix facials, ie you could resort to this in case you are in a hurry and want to squeeze something in between. They are also good as a routine treatment to maintain the clarity of skin and it’s glow.

Downside: Results are short lived if one is not following a good skin care routine. A skin care routine should include a good cleanser or face wash, an effective sunscreen which is comfortable enough to be applied thrice daily and an age specific night cream.
