Derma facials

Oxypod facial: (Best medi facial - not promoted heavily on social media since very few clinics have it.) At Transforme, we are using it since almost 7 years. It is so safe that we trust it for all the brides and bride grooms as a pre wedding facial. It is so effective and longer lasting that they come back to tell us that the results lasted for 1.5 months (that’s huge considering all the wedding atrocities on the skin and honey moon travel). They also show us photographs of the wedding and other functions to show the glow.

Oxypod facial is done with a medi-facial machine. There are three steps:

a) Medicated scrubbing: A special disk is massaged on the skin. This disk is of different types for different indications, eg retinol for mature or damaged skin, mandelic acid for deep tan, vitamin c for nourishing , hyaluronic for hydration.

b) Medicine infusion: A special nourishing and moisturising fluid is driven into the skin by the electroporation probe.

c) RF or Radio frequency: Radiofrequency waves when delivered to the dermis ie the deeper layer of the skin, tighten it over a period of time to bring about actual age reversal ie skin lifting.

How is our oxypod different than others?

The original RF probe that is provided in the machine is effective but a mild one. We give it a miss to use the more powerful Apollo duet RF machine to improve the amount of lift provided in each sitting.

Disadvantages: In last 7 years we had only two patients (out of more than 10000) to have complained of unusual dryness and exfoliation of the skin which was resolved with added hydrating cream.
